It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gracie Banks Bright (Washington, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on April 11, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Duffy Banks and Mary Cherry Banks; her husband James A. Bright; and her siblings, Frank Banks, Snodie Banks, Murphy Banks, Ruby Chauncey, Dollie Pilgreen, Lizzie Banks and Minnie Midyette.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Bright of New Bern, N. C., Jimmy Bright of Washington and Brenda Daughton of Washington. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
