It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia H. Boyd of Washington, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Preston Hill, Jr. and Margaret Lucille Pope Hill; her husband Eric Paul Boyd; her daughter Paula Denise Boyd of Washington; her siblings, Joe Hill (Linda) of Washington and Vickie Joyner (Glenn) of Franklin, VA; and her grandson Drake Matthew Paul of Washington.
