He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lupton Rouse and Rosa Sutton Rouse; his wife Hattie M. Rouse; his son Billy Rouse; his granddaughter Sandy Rouse; and his brother William Earl Rouse.
He is survived by: his son Robert L. Rouse (Tammy) of Sunset Beach; his grandchildren, Bennett Rouse, Taylor Rouse, Jodie Rouse Nano and Daniel Rouse; and his great grandchildren, Dawson Rouse, Opal Rouse, Jaxon Nano and Thea Marin Nano.
