He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mac Freeman and Flora Mae Long Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Dale Ivey; his son-in-law Michael "Moose" Moore; his children, Daphne Freeman White (John) of Wilson and Mike Freeman (Susan Davenport Freeman) of Washington; his grandchildren, Ginny White Hemrick (Derek) of Hamptonville, NC, Caroline Elizabeth Asby (Cody) of Pinetown, Katherine Moore Swinson (Christopher) of Greenville and George Colby Freeman of Washington; and his great grandchildren, Samuel David Hemrick and Michael Ryder Asby.
