He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Day McDowell and Estella Eatmon McDowell. He is survived by: his wife Sharon McDowell; his children, Renee Dawn McRoy, Billy McRoy of Washington, Geoffrey Kyle McDowell, Yonica McDowell of Grimesland, Aaron Shane McDowell and Talyna McDowell; and his grandchild Jordan Sharon McDowell.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall (1732 N Market St, Washington, NC 27889).
