He was predeceased by: his parents, Redden Whitaker and Bessie Whitaker (Woolard). He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Kevin Whitaker (Amy Crick), Eric Whitaker (Stacy Cutler) and Kristi Baynor (Eric Baynor); his grandchildren, Erica Baynor, Chloe Whitaker, Braxton Baynor and Maddox Whitaker; and his siblings, Phillip Whitaker and Rita Dickerson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
