It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Thompson Jr. of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Peggy Harrison Thompson and Gary Boyd Thompson, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Thompson; his children, Ashley T. Moon of Washington, NC and Matthew Thompson of Washington, NC; his granddaughter Scarlett Moon; and his sisters, Denise Belote (Bryan) of Washington, NC, Jennifer Jarvis of Bath, NC and Ashley Moon.
