He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Fleet Coats and Carrie Elliott Coats; and his siblings, Carol Spiers and Charles Holloman. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Coats (Beth) of Washington, NC and Dennis Coats (Amanda) of Pantego, NC; his siblings, Patricia Wilkins (Sidney) of Windsor, Virginia and Barry Coats (Willie) of Floresville; and his grandchildren, Johnathan, Aylah, Sophia, Caleb, Bary, Madi, Kelsey, Carlee and Liam.
