He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernie Harding Oliver, Sr. and Hazel Lee Watson Oliver; his wife Christine Boyd Oliver; and his siblings, Gary Oliver, Larry Oliver and Linda Respass.
He is survived by: his children, Lorie Ramsey of Pinetown, Sherry Oliver of Pinetown, Butch Oliver (Tabitha) of Pinetown and Connie Woolard (Derek) of Hampstead; his siblings, Ronald Oliver (Betty) of Bath and Kathy Jefferson (Larry) of Washington; his siblings-in-law, Patsy Oliver of Pinetown and Ronnie Respass of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Mandy Jefferson, Christina Smithwick, Ashley Haddock, Danielle Waters (Tyler), Dylan Woolard and Tiffany Oliver; and his great grandchildren, Robert Smithwick, Chloe Campbell, Briley Smithwick, Walker Waters and McKay Woolard.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Everetts Church of Christ (48 S White Post Rd, Pinetown, NC 27865). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
