She is survived by: her sons, Timmy Lawrence Tyson of Clyde, NC and Phillip Wayne Tyson (Heather Marie Dawkins) of Washington, NC; her sister Janice C. Grissom (Phillip) of Chocowinity, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Tyson, Jaden Tyson and Mason Tyson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
