She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hatten Hedgepeth and Amy Campbell Hedgepeth; her husband James Roy Ausbon, Sr.; and her siblings, Robert Earl Hedgepeth, Sr., Ronald Jesse Hedgepeth, Edna H Mayo, Margie H. Wainwright and Ruby Bell Hedgepeth.
She is survived by: her children, James R. Ausbon, Jr. (Sandra) of Washington and Pam Ausbon Walker of Washington; her grandchildren, Thomas James Ausbon (Kayla) of Washington, Samantha Britton Weathersby of Washington and Alexis Squires (Braxton) of Greenville; and her great grandchild Hattie Brooke Ausbon of Washington.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
