Smith (Washington, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Dewey Bullock and Eva Mae Daniels Bullock; her husband Sherman Gray Smith; her children, Patricia Smith and Manuel Smith; her sons-in-law, John Tankard Jones and Franklin Simpson; and her brothers, James and Bill Bullock.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Etta Jones of Bath and Liz Simpson of Belhaven; and her grandchildren, Jason Simpson (Julie) of Fort Barnwell and Kari Wilson (David) of Havelock. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
