He is survived by: his wife Brenda Koonce; his daughters, Renda Voliva (Pickett) of Pamlico Beach and Pamela Koonce; his siblings, Patty Mcallister (Barry), Troy Koonce Jr. and Nelson Koonce (Holly); and his grandchildren, Billy C. Bland III, Dylan Bland, Hannah Bland, Nevaeh Ward, Isabella Buchanan and Kaley Anderson. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, along with two aunts.
