It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Padgett Allen of Washington, North Carolina, born in Jamesville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 28, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillon Padgett and Sally Hardison Padgett; her husbands, Ottis Allen, Brown Alligood and Charles Runion; and her sisters, Sarah Pierce, Sally Eason and Mollie Harrison.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Allen Perkinson (Phil) of Washington and Ottis Allen (Becky) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Ashley Jones (Brian), Rachel Haggerty (Collin), Taylor Matheson (Jake) and Hunter Allen; and her sister Elsie Lee Pierce of Windsor. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
