It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth D. Ferrell (Washington, North Carolina), born in Wilson, Texas, who passed away on July 4, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Jasper Davis and Viola Mae Renfrow Davis; and her brothers, Silas Jasper Davis, Jr., James "Jim" William Davis and Donald Dix Davis.
She is survived by: her spouse James M. Ferrell; her daughters, Roxanne F. Beeman (Larry) of Washington, Elizabeth F. "Buff" Blizzard (Shannon) of Beulaville and Frances F. Harris (Jeff) of Lillington; her brother Dewey R. Davis of Lucama; her grandchildren, Davis Allen Beeman, Mary-Morgan Elizabeth Beeman, Elizabeth Sumner Blizzard, Ruby Jamesan Blizzard, James Nelson Harris, Jack Nicholas Harris and Jasper Thomas Harris; her friend Frances Woodard of Black Creek; her niece Susan Davis Cleary of Banner Elk; and her nephews, Rusty Davis of Raleigh, Jim Davis of Lucama and Don Davis of Melbourne, FL..
