We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2023, at the age of 82, Dora Sawyer Sullivan (Washington, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sherald Winslow Sawyer and Freddie Olivia Guthrie Sawyer; her husband Ray Phillip Sullivan; her children, Lisa Sullivan Wilkins (Jay), Michael Ray Sullivan (Brenda) of Greenville, Grace and Carter Froman; her siblings, Frances Sawyer Coomer (Larry) of Charleston, SC and Sherald Winslow Sawyer, Jr. (Nancy) of New Bern, NC; her grandchildren, Connor McKinley Wilkins, Elisabeth Cate Wilkins, Brooke Elisabeth Sullivan, Breanna Lynn Sullivan and Blakelyn Shae Sullivan; and also Robyn Sculthorpe.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions can be made to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College Street, Oxford, NC 27565 or to the Hannah Cuthrell Education Scholarship (Dr. Cuthrell, Jr. Endowment Scholarship) at East Carolina University, Office of University Scholarships, G210 Old Cafeteria Complex, Greenville, NC 27858.
