He is survived by: his wife Reverend Earnestine May; his children, Aaron May (Claudette) of Greenville, NC, Vandella May of Brooklyn, NY, Jacqueline May of Brooklyn, NY, James May of Brooklyn, NY, Jobie May of Brooklyn, NY and Derrick Hines of Brooklyn, NY; his stepson Darius Little of Charlotte, NC; his sister Gladys May Williams of Charlotte, NC; his siblings-in-law, Willie Little, Eldress Patricia Crandall (Joe) of Robersonville, NC, Josphine Blackwell of Washington, NC and Carol Allen of Norfolk, VA; and his nephews, Glenn Graves of Atlanta, GA and Jerome Windly of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
