He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Baker Carter, Sr. and Janie MacLean Carter; his wife Vivian Toler; his son David Angus Carter, Jr. (Darlene) of LaGrange; his grandchildren, Ava Justeen Carter and Emersyn Caroline Carter; his daughter Jane Carter Thompson (Charles Derrick Thompson) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, Mary Dylan Thompson and Carter Van Thompson; his brother William Baker Carter, Jr. (Linda) of Pocatello; and also, William Baker Carter III and Shanon MacLean Carter (Barbara Dell).
