It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daphene Sides Silvey of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Turner Sides and Ogden O. Sides. She is survived by: her husband Herman P. Silvey; her sister Patsy Smith of Columbia, SC; her daughters, Kathey S. Stiles of Dallas, NC and Melinda S. Patrick of Bolivia, NC; her grandchildren, Joshua M. Stiles, Justin D. Stiles and Heather P. Sawyers; and her great grandchildren, MacKenzie Carver, Madison Sawyers, Miles Farrell, Adelaide Stiles and Cordelia Stiles.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
