We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2023, at the age of 83, Charles Duane Sopher (Washington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amos Sopher and Trella Sopher; his wife Sharron; his daughter Kellie Souza; his son-in-law Michael of Alexandria, VA; his son Matthew Sopher of Washington, NC; his grandsons, Tyler Souza, Jacob Souza, Nathan Sopher and Joseph Sopher; his brother Joseph Sopher of Knoxville, IL; and his cousin Dale Sopher (Estelle) of Knoxville. He was also cherished by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Methodist Church Washington, P.O. Box 715, 304 West Second Street, Washington, NC 27889.
