She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alfred Smagalski and Vivian Mae Wood Smagalski; her husband Paul Lockwood Zimmer, Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Faith Smagalski and Phil Harpine.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Mae Zimmer Wicks (Bill) of Washington and Brent Lee Zimmer (Sharon Kibbe) of New Bern; her granddaughter Dedra Nicole Zimmer of Greenville; and her siblings, Gary William Smagalski of Williamsburg, VA and Sandra Doreene Harpine of Columbia, S. C..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American heart Association or the Beaufort County Humane Society.
