It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby G. Bright Sr. of Washington, North Carolina, born in Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Churchill "Boot" Bright and Annie Maude Ball Bright; and his siblings, Ray, J. R. Bright and Lillie Mae McVicker.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Hill; his children, Jennie B. Singleton (Jim) of Washington and Glynn Bright of Washington; his sister Jean Carrow (Rayvon) of Chocowinity; his grandchildren, Katelyn Gaskins (Josh) of Washington, Dylan Singleton of Winston Salem and Shanna Steinert (Nick) of Simpson; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Liam Steinert of Simpson.
