She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Alligood and Lucy Alligood; her husband Lindsay Sutton; her siblings, Tommy Woolard, JB Woolard, Arvie Woolard, Minnie Spain, Maebell Squires, Marie Alligood and Mary Helen McRoy; and her son-in-law Maurice "Murphy" Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Murphy of Washington, NC, Debra Sutton of Chocowinity, NC and Jennifer Lynn Lane (Billy) of New Bern, NC; and her siblings, Billy Ray Woolard of Washington, NC and Trumella Woolard of Washington, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
