She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gayle Jones (George) of Washington, Charlie Bennett "Benny" Mizelle, Jr. of Washington, Wanda Kay Edmondson (Mack) of Everetts, Karen Sue Bonner (Steve) of Washington and Joyce Bennette Buck (Britt) of Grimesland; her siblings, Sybil Cowen Meeks of Greensboro and Charles Hendricks Cowen III of Graham; her grandchildren, Melissa Boyette, Aimee Taylor, Brandi Griffin, Emily Connell, Daniel Bonner, Jacob Bonner and Claire Buck; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Matthew, Declan, Madelyn, Meredyth and Lilah; and her great great grandchildren, Aiden and Rachel.
