Betsy Carney Toler Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betsy Carney Toler of Washington, North Carolina, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dysie Arnold Carney Boyd and Albert Leon Carney; her husband Clifton Leo Toler, Jr.; her sister Yvonne Edwards; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Toler Hill and Monna Toler Cutler.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Toler Turnage (Lee Turnage); her grandson Aubrey Hampton Turnage; her sisters, Vera Jones of Maryland, Audrey Walker of Washington and Jessie Brooks of Washington; and her brothers-in-law, J. D. Edwards and Billy Hill (Nancy). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
