She was predeceased by: her parents, George Norman and Jesse Hill Brame; her husband Alton Ray Boyd; and her siblings, Paul, Herman Brame and Carol Jean Brame.
She is survived by: her brother Carlton Brame (Lucy); her sisters-in-law, Faye and Betty Brame; and her friend Francis Edwards (Frankie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saturday Night Jamboree in care of Marlene Sprouse at 410 Northwood Road, Washington NC 27889.
