He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Ann Silverthorne; his sisters, Alice Bell and Carol Manning; and his granddaughter Alice Pearl Jones. He is survived by: his father Archie L. Tetterton, Sr.; his daughter Christy Tetterton of Washington; and his sisters, Rita Alligood (Darrell, Sr.) of Washington and Deandria Wynne. He is also survived by three grandsons; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved him as a bonus father.
In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889.
