He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis W. Thiel and Sylvia Thiel; his brothers, Ken and Steve Thiel; and his aunts and uncles, Lester, Leroy, Harry, Glen, Frank Thiel, Agnes Smith, Dorothy Tangel and Rose Wagner.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Thiel (Imber); his pet Aspen; his cousin Margie Thiel; his uncle Herbert Thiel; his aunt Zowalla Thiel; and his cousins, Bruce Thiel and Leslie Freenock.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Allan's name may be made to the Christian Motorcyclists Association (marked with his name and the words "Run For The Son") and mailed to CMA at P.O. Box 9, Hatfield, AR 71945.
