She was predeceased by: her parents, James T. Moore and Vestina S. Moore; and her husband Edward Washington Lucas. She is survived by: her son James Kelly Lucas, Sr. (Tammy) of Chocowinity; her grandchildren, James Kelly Lucas, Jr. (Jessica Dixon), Emily Grace Wood (Dalton), Jake Lucas (Victoria) and Samantha Batts (Zackary); and her close friends, Trish Hardison and Geneva Beacham. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Paul Funeral Home & Crematory (900 John Small Ave, Washington, NC 27889). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
