He is survived by: his son Norman Fred Pickett; the mother of his children Lisa H. Carr; his son-in-law Michael Kent Pierce; his grandchildren, Shannon Michelle Pickett, Bradley Thomas Pickett, Michael Kent Pierce, Jr. (Samantha) and Christopher Allen Pierce (Aleah); his great grandchildren, Annlyn, Oliver, Rowan and Sawyer Pierce; his sister Maude P. Smith; and his nephews, Bobby Smith and A. Q. Smith.
