He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald Walker McNeill and Edith Alline Wilson McNeill; and his brother Boone McNeill. He is survived by: his wife Jean Chambers McNeill; his children, James W. "Bo" McNeill (Beth) of Mt Olive, Michael "Mike" McNeill (Mara) of Keller, TX and Catherine Alliene Barthel (Doug) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Sydney McNeill, Zach McNeill (Jess), Caleb McNeill (Bri), Micah McNeill and Drew Barthel; and his siblings, Dan Kelly McNeill (Maureen) of Fayetteville and Barbara Miller.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Warsaw Baptist Church (209 E College St, Warsaw, NC 28398). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at the same location.
