He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Thomas and Rena Mae Bryant Fussell; and his son John Ira Fussell. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Miller Fussell; his son Timothy Ray Fussell; his sister Geraldine Fussell Johnson; his grandson John Scott Fussell; and also Michael Bond.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Building Fund, 767 Corinth Church Rd., Teachey, NC 28464 where Ray was a lifelong member of the church and community, or to the Duplin County Humane Society.
