She was predeceased by: her husband John Potter of Mt. Olive; her parents, Myrtie Darden of Mt. Olive and MacEnnis Darden of Mt. Olive; and her siblings, Frank Darden of Mt. Olive, Lewis Darden of Faison and Jessie Peaden of Elm City.
She is survived by: her children, Toledo Kemmer (Bill) of Clinton, Susan Bennett of Warsaw and Wayne Ezzell (Pam) of Warsaw; her stepchildren, Johnny Potter (Linda) of Vanceboro and Ann Potter of Vanceboro; her grandchildren, Bruce Jackson of Clinton, Bryan Jackson of Clinton, Bella Wiggins of Warsaw and Emily Ezzell of Warsaw; her great grandchildren, Zachary Harman of Burgaw, Marine, Brianna Jackson of Clinton, Savannah Jackson of Clinton, Morgan Jackson of Clinton and Kyndall Jackson of Clinton; and her siblings, Maybelle Ezzell (Dennis) of Warsaw, Dan Darden (Rose) of Mt. Olive and Phil Darden of Little Washington. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
