She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Spencer and Eunice Powell Thomas. She is survived by: her sons, Edward S. Johnson of Four Oaks, Brian K. Johnson of Etowah, NC and Jay Johnson (Karen) of Atlantic Beach; her grandchildren, A. J. Johnson and Susannah Johnson (Mike); and her sister Linda Beecher of Rose Hill.
