We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2023, at the age of 91, Loyce Jacqueline Phillips of Warsaw, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Aubrey and Elizabeth Wells Carr; her husband John Thomas "Tommie" Phillips, Sr.; and her cousin Betty Jane Wells Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Trilby P. Evans (late Timothy "Timmy" Ray) and John Thomas Phillips, Jr. (Pamela Beck Phillips) of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Timothy Ray Evans, II (Emily Kelly Evans), John Oliver Evans (Pamela Mills Evans) and Lauren Beck Phillips (Garrett Grant); her great grandchildren, John Luke Evans, Reid Langdon Evans, Clayton Mills and Madeline Mills (Madi); and her sister Mary Elizabeth Carr Haughton of Tennessee. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be made to Lower Cape Fear LifeCare of Wilmington, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
