Effie Moore Darden Hamilton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2024, at the age of 106, Effie Moore Darden Hamilton of Warsaw, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Herring Darden and Gertrude Eliza Moore Darden; her husband John Fisher Hamilton; her siblings, Mary Darden Mason, Flavius Allen Darden and Robert Joseph Darden; and her grandson Gregory Todd Hodges.
She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Hamilton Rich (Dwight Rich) of Garner, NC and Joyce Hamilton (Joe Hodges) of Newport, NC; and her grandchildren, Johnny Rich of Clayton, NC, Theresa Hamilton Power of Aurora and Brian Hodges of Cary, NC.. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
