She is survived by: her children, James Smith Sr., William Lowe Jr. (Judy), Raymond Lowe (Sharkonda), Betty Jean Garner (Tony) and Deborah Ann Carlton (William Carlton Sr.); and her grandchildren, Peggy Smith, Jamie Wallace (Valerie), Shaunte Wallace, LaKeisha Lowe Yelverton (Ivory), Felicia Lowe Burnett (James), William Herring (Petrina), DeMarkus Herring, Christina Herring, William T Carlton Jr., Shalonda Mitchell (Dante), Sherika Carlton, Emmanuel Carlton, Llyah T. Lowe, Xzavier O. Lowe, Monica Lowe, Iqailynia Lowe, Malachi J Lowe, Yaisenia L. Lowe and Messiah D. Lowe. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
