She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Bradley and Bessie Mae Turner Braswell; her husband Joe Lanier; her son Jimmy Lanier; and her brothers, Glenn and Leon Braswell.
She is survived by: her daughter Gwen L. Grady (Bill) of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Sonya Revels (Jeffrey) of Clayton and Chris Grady (Amber) of Warsaw; and her brothers, Charles Braswell (Karen) of Surf City and Tony Braswell (Jean) of Faison. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warsaw United Methodist Church (107 W Plank Rd, Warsaw, NC 28398). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
