With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie L. Norwood (Warrenton, North Carolina), who passed away on January 23, 2021 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry Norwood and Mattie Norwood; and his siblings, Ouincy Norwood and Mary Lee Southall. He is survived by : his children, Peggy Pegram (Emmanuel), Willie Norwood, Jr. (Marilyn), Linda Dement and Kittie Norwood. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great – great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Inez Baptist Church, 1967 Parktown Road, Warrenton, NC 27589 or Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 2129 NC HWY 43, Warrenton, NC 27589.
