He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward and Florina Marie Abbott Fleming; and his siblings, Charles Lacy Fleming and Jean Fleming Cole. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn F. Gunter (Jimmy) and Karen F. Maynard (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Brandon Pernell (Jamie), Joseph Pernell (April), Lee Carroll, Joshua Gunter, Nicolas Gunter (Ashley), Jessica Huggins (Junior) and Jimmy Maynard (Christina). He is also survived by his eighteen great grandchildren.
The family asks that any memorials be directed to Shocco United Methodist Church.
