She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Mamie Kearney of Paterson, Bertha Massenburg of Paterson, Mary Agnes Harrison of Warrenton, Johnnie Simes (Shirley) of Warrenton, Horace Simes of Warrenton, Connie Simes of Warrenton, Carletta Simes of Warrenton and Marvin Townes of Washington, D. C.; her sister Elizabeth Kearney of Paterson; her children-in-law, Lillian Simes of Warrenton and Jasper Southerland of Warrenton; her nieces, Jean Parrish (Marlon) of Baltimore and Marie Phelps Long (Herman) of Warrenton; and her nephew Mark Townes (Admoria) of Warrenton. She was also cherished by forty nine grandchildren, eighty five great-grandchildren and thirty great-great grandchildren.
