She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Roten and Thelma Thompson Roten. She is survived by: her son Jack Eastridge; her brother Jim Eastridge (Lori) of Jefferson; and her stepgranddaughter Jerry Roten (Margie) of West Jefferson. She is also survived by four step great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ashe County Cancer Fund, PO Box 431, Jefferson, NC 28640.
