He is survived by: his children, Sonny Cox of Lansing, Oneda Burleson-Dyer of Virginia, Joyce Taylor (Junior) of Jefferson, Naomi Ray (Ron) of Jefferson and Alesia Osborne (Bobby) of Crumpler; and his grandchildren, Bobby Burleson, John Burleson, Debbie Burkhart, Diane Sherrick, Bobby Cox, Dean Cox, Jody Taylor, Missy Wier, Freda Lewis, Rita Cox, Crystal Greer and Christopher Ray. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
