She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Powers and Ruth Howell Powers; her husband Joe Allen Turner; and her siblings, Annie Hamm, Doris Sturgill, Virginia Venable, Joe and Elmer Powers.
She is survived by: her son Steve Allen Turner (Kathy) of Warrensville; and her siblings, Mary Blevins of Lansing, JoAnn Kerr of Jefferson, Carol Miller of Wilkesboro, Bill Powers of Lansing and Allen Powers of Lansing.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel (3470 U. S. Hwy 221 N, Jefferson, NC 28640). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
