He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Roland and Blanche Hartsoe Roland; and his son Robert Roland. He is survived by: his wife Louise Greer Roland; his children, Tim Roland (Emily) of Asheville, Danny Roland (Brenda) of Wilkesboro, Mike Roland (Katrina) of Warrensville and Lisa Calhoun (Randy) of Warrensville; and his sister Peggy Cheek (Curtis) of West Jefferson.
