He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Wyatt Denny; his children, Anita Jones (Rick) of Boone, Annette Seatz (Eugene) of West Jefferson and Jamie Denny (Emily) of Warrensville; his siblings, Ruthie Shoemaker of Wilkesboro and Ralph Denny (Carol) of West Jefferson; his grandchildren, Dusty Hartsoe (Maranda), Kayla Bowlin (DJ), Cheyenna Jones, PJ Phillips (Leonia), Kandace Grit (Dakota Zachary Denny), Faith Denny and Elizabeth Moseley; and his great grandchildren, Bowen Grit, Waylon Grit, Rose Grit, Kaylee Lewis, Sierra Adams, Megan Adams, Toryn Lewis, Colter Lewis, Hunter Bowlin, Macie Bowlin and Samantha Bowlin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
