He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Soper and Geneva Sexbury Soper; his wife Lois Lee McGee Soper; his granddaughters, Jennifer King and Mary Ann Andrews; and his siblings, Raymond Soper and Deloris Soper.
He is survived by: his daughters, Wendy Sue Bernhardt (Richard) of Warne and Julie Andrews (Gene) of St. Johns, Michigan; his stepsons, James Coykendall of Tampa, Florida and Kenneth Coykendall of Tampa, Florida; and his siblings, Dorothy Soper Curtis of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Doris Knight of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jim Soper (Diane) of Zealand and Lloyd Soper of Tampa, Florida. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
