Charles Jack Byers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Jack Byers of Warne, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Jack Byers; his son Sean Byers; his sister Gayla Lee Scruggs; his grandparents, Woodrow and Irene Byers; and his aunts and uncles, Betty Sue Hooper, Helen Scharringhausen, Fred Byers, Wayne Byers, Monroe Byers, Claude Dee Byers, Roy Lee Byers and Ben Edward Byers.
He is survived by: his mother Sandra "Sandy" Joan Byers; his children, C. J. Byers (Maddie) of Blairsville, GA and Alyssa Grace Byers of Blairsville, GA; his grandson Sean Jesse "S. J." Byers; his siblings, Lisa Doss of Montana, Becky Baker (C. N.) of Morganton, Karen Calhoun (Eric) of Valdese, Susie Sherlin Curtis (Mike) of Brunswick, GA and Steven Michael Byers (Phyllis) of Hayesville; and his uncles, Lawrence Byers and Thomas Byers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (250 Hall Cove Rd, Warne, NC 28909). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
