Alice J. Matheson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice J. Matheson (Warne, North Carolina), born in Madisonville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 31, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William B. Green and Nettie Spurling Green; her former husband Cecil L. Willis; and her brother Walter B. Green. She is survived by: her daughters, Dewana Lyvers (Michael) of Warne and Denise Marie Derreberry (Billy Ray) of Andrews; her sisters, Mattie Holloway of Louisville, Tennessee and Hattie Myers of Louisville, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Robert Lyvers, Dakota Lyvers (Kerri) and Kyle Derreberry; and her great grandchildren, Katie Lyvers and Akyla Derreberry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in memory of Alice J. Matheson to the Alzheimer's Association, PO Box 96011, Washington D.C. 20090-6011 or alz.org.
