She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosanne Payne Saunders and Gus Saunders, Sr.; and her sons, Michael Rogers, Sr. and Danny Rogers, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Sherry Moore (Buster) of Colington, Crystal Rogers of Manteo and Ernest "Sammy" Rogers, Jr. (Brenda) of Wanchese. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, four brothers, and four sisters.
